At SafeHeart CPR Academy, we are committed to delivering high-quality, professional training and testing services. Due to the specialized nature of our offerings—including time-sensitive testing procedures, laboratory fees, certification requirements, and chain-of-custody protocols—we maintain the following refund policy:
Non-Refundable Services
All services are non-refundable once a sample has been collected, a test has been initiated, a kit has been shipped, or a certification class has begun. This includes, but is not limited to:
- DNA testing (legal and non-legal)
- Drug screening (DOT and non-DOT)
- Hair follicle testing
- Fingerprinting
- STD and HIV lab panels
- Phlebotomy services
- CPR certifications (AHA & Red Cross)
- IV certification courses
Once testing begins, a specimen has been transferred to the lab, or a certification course has started, we cannot cancel or issue a refund, as third-party costs and instructor allocations are immediately incurred.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
- Cancellations made with proper notice before any sample is collected, shipped, or a class has started may qualify for a partial refund, minus a $25 administrative processing fee.
- Missed appointments or “no-shows” will forfeit any payment made and must pay the full rate to reschedule.
DNA & Lab Kits
Once a home DNA kit or lab panel kit has been shipped, the order is final and non-refundable, regardless of whether the kit is used or returned. Shipping fees are non-refundable under all circumstances.
Inconclusive Results
In some cases, test results may be inconclusive due to sample quality, biological conditions, or lab limitations. This does not qualify for a refund. However, re-testing may be offered at a reduced rate, depending on the situation.
Testing Site Policy
For the safety, privacy, and efficiency of our operations, only the individuals being tested or trained are permitted inside our facility. Guests, children, or additional parties will not be allowed unless pre-approved for legal or medical reasons.
Payment Disputes
If a chargeback or payment dispute is filed without first contacting our office, it may result in legal action or referral to collections. We strongly encourage clients to reach out to us directly with any concerns so we can work toward a fair resolution.
